There are many places to see here with many of the structures built during the middle ages. One favorite destination of uzbekistan tour travelers are the trading domes which were constructed during the 16th century. A lot of buying and selling were done inside these domes and each one was named after a particular item that was being traded inside.
While on your Uzbekistan tour, you should also make a point of visiting its second largest city Samarkand. It is believed to be twenty five centuries old and is a haven of ancient monuments with magnificent architecture. Many of the structures that you can see here are intricately decorated with carved marble, mosaic tiles and glazed bricks.
