World Expo 2010 Shanghai, 24th June: The Government of every country tries hard to show case the country as great among many in all respect , particularly in the economic and technological sectors. But a mere visit in the Shanghai World Expo 2010 would sure to make your dream shattered.

It was expected from the part of the Government to show the power in the technological and IT sectors in the Expo but the expectation was belied as soon as one entered the expo where different countries are ready to flex the technological muscles. In Shanghai it was noted that every country was tying to garner investment and business by all means. But India merely was satisfied to center round the stale food items and age old handicrafts.

Having entered into the Expo what one had to confront were the food stalls that were ready to sell puri, samosa , naan porotha and creamy lassi. There was no other thing to highlight India as a country marching towards a better future. But there was enough scope to showcase India’s prowess in all sectors, spcifically technology, but in vain.

The present world is intending to watch how a country is marching ahead with modern technology. But in this context India fails to prove that she has real potential to prove her worth.
