• Browse directories for clothing manufacturers. These directories are available both offline and online around the world. This may be a time consuming process, but the Internet search will be swifter than the other method. If you are going to deal with Chinese manufacturer, you have to take note though that they only respond to orders in high volumes.
• Check the samples out. After you have chosen at least three manufacturers, request to see their samples. These are much better alternatives than just watching the apparel on your computer.
• Find out what clients have to say about the company. To add to your research, ask the company to give you references so you can follow up on what clients say about the company’s work. If you only hear good feedbacks about the company, that is a good sign.
• Make it a point to communicate to a representative of the clothing manufacturer. Talk to them regularly and keep track of how the work on your order is going.
